Hadith on Helping and Guiding Others
فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ” مَنْ دَلَّ عَلَى خَيْرٍ فَلَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ فَاعِلِهِ ”
The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever guides someone to goodness will have a reward like the one who did it.” Reference – Sahih Muslim
Darood Sharif
Others
Darood Sharif (Salawat) is a prayer asking Allah to bless the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). It expresses love and respect and brings spiritual reward. The Quran instructs believers to send blessings upon the Prophet (Al-Ahzab 33:56). Short forms can be recited daily.
The most complete form recited in prayer is Durood-e-Ibrahim. It is recited in the final tashahhud and praised in Hadith. Beginners can start with short Darood and learn Durood-e-Ibrahim gradually.
There is no strict number. Even one sincere recitation is rewarded. Many scholars recommend frequent short recitations; some virtues are mentioned in hadith for repeated recitations. Focus on sincerity and correct pronunciation.
Reciting Darood before and after dua is a recommended practice and helps by increasing blessings and earning Allah’s mercy, making the heart humble and focused during supplication. Reference Quran.com
